Digits Service Center Terms & Conditions

Digits provides services for all Apple products including: iPhone, iPod, iPad, Apple Watch, iMac, iMac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, Mac Pro, chargers, peripherals, Apple TV, Beats by Dre products, time capsule and other peripherals covered by the service as per Apple Terms of Service and Guidelines provided for Apple Authorised Service Providers (AASP).

 

Eligible for Warranty Service

Applicable for damage caused by defects in materials or workmanship and some forms of accidental damage (eg. liquid contact, debris under display glass or pixel anomaly, camera misalignment, some forms of cracks) eligible for Apple's Limited Warranty. Device eligibility is dependent on the device. 

Out of Warranty Service

Costs and charges for out of warranty services apply. Includes liquid damage confirmed by user, LCD fractures, damage due to laser contact, cracks with point of impact, chips or multiple cracks in the front or back glass cover, damage to audio/lightning connector, extreme abrasion of display, puncture holes, button damage, bent enclosure, split enclosure, speaker/microphone grill damage, cracks near headphone jack or other cases deemed eligible for out of warranty service by the certified technicians present in the Authorised Service Provider Service Center. Device eligibility is dependent on the device. 

In order to provide service (In Warranty - Out of Warranty), the device must have all functional Apple parts:

  • Battery
  • Battery Adhesive Tab
  • Battery Cowling
  • Headphone Jack
  • Bottom Microphone
  • Lightning/Type-C Connector
  • Camera
  • Home Button/Touch ID Sensor Flex
  • Receiver
  • Logic Board Display Connections
  • Logic Board Serial Number/SIM Reader Cover
  • Taptic Engine
  • Speakers
  • FaceTime CAmera/Receiver/ALS Flex
  • Display/Multi-Touch Flex
  • Home Button/Touch ID Sensor Assembly

Ineligible for Service

The device will not be handled or operated on by the service provider and will be returned to the user in case of mismatch between the configuration code and color, size or model, intentional tampering or damage, disassembled unit or missing parts, non-Apple batteries, catastrophic damage or other cases deemed ineligible for service by the certified technicians present in the Authorised Service Provider Service Center. Device eligibility is dependent on the device. 

Under Recall Program

In case the device is eligible for Apple "Under Recall Program", the device is put into the process of recall program according to Apple's Terms of Service and the specific recall guidelines. Partial costs and fees may apple and the completion time is according to availability and shipping if needed. Device eligibility is dependent on the device. 

Non-Serialized Apple Products

Includes mice, keyboards, iPod, earbud, iPhone chargers/lighting cable, etc. For any non-serialized products bundled with another serialized apple products, a serial number of the main Apple product (eg: MacBook, iPod Touch, etc) has to be provided.
For non-serialized products purchased separately, a proof of coverage has to be provided.
